Hartford GYN Center offers a full-range of gynecological health and wellness services to address needs at all stages of life cycles – from adolescence to menopause. Our caring and gentle female practitioner will take time to discuss your health concerns and answer all of your questions.
HGC accepts Connecticut Medicaid, many private insurances, and has reasonable out-of-pocket fees. We are currently accepting new patients so call for your appointment today!

Gynecological health and wellness
Hartford GYN Center offers gynecological wellness visits that include a general physical exam, pelvic exam, pap smear, breast exam, and a discussion of birth control options if needed. Please call to schedule an appointment.
Birth control / contraceptive services:
Choosing the best birth control option is a personal decision. Our practitioner will take time to discuss your medical history, lifestyle preferences, and family planning goals and help you choose the birth control method that will work best for you. The options available at Hartford GYN Center include:
- Birth control pills
- Birth control shot (Depo Provera)
- Birth control patch (Xulane)
- Birth control ring (Nuvaring)
- Emergency Contraceptive Pills (“Morning After Pills”)
- Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) including:
- Intrauterine Device (IUD) (Mirena, Kyleena, Skyla, Liletta, Paragard)
- Birth control implant (Nexplanon)

Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
Hartford GYN Center can provide testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STI). If you are experiencing symptoms that you think may be from an STI, please call our office to schedule an appointment. Pregnancy testing
Urine pregnancy testing is available without an appointment during office hours. Results are available immediately and will be given in private by a staff member who can address any questions or concerns you have about the results. For those without insurance, the fee is $10. Please call prior to arrival to confirm the office is open.
Pregnancy ultrasound
Hartford GYN Center offers fast and convenient ultrasound services to determine the size and age of your pregnancy. Call our office to schedule an appointment. Please note that our ultrasound scan cannot detect the sex or determine the health of the pregnancy.
Pregnancy options counseling
If you are pregnant and not sure what to do, Hartford GYN Center has non-directive patient advocates who can discuss your options and provide you with all of the resources you need to make an informed decision. There is no charge for discussing your pregnancy options.
