Columbus Women’s Health Organization abortion clinic in Columbus, Georgia.
We specialize in reproductive health care including emotionally supportive abortion care.
NO pre-operative visit is required here as Georgia law allows the 24 hour consent process to be done on the phone. Alabama clinics are required to have their patients come TWICE to obtain an abortion. Our clinic is conveniently located on the Georgia/Alabama border. We are able to offer one day appointments to all of our patients. This includes those traveling from nearby Alabama where patients are required to make 2 visits to the clinic and endure a long waiting period in between.
Low Income women can now receive funding for abortion and reproductive health care.
GREAT NEWS! Patients struggling to pay for abortion services may qualify to RECEIVE FUNDING. Our clinic knows this is a difficult time for many, and we want to help. Give us a call and ask our phone counselors how to access this funding.
Our clinic is different! Not only do we offer financial assistance, but you only need to come in one time. Because we are located in GEORGIA, our Alabama patients can skip the TWO visits required for Alabama clinics. Let us help make this a less stressful time in your life.
THIS IS ONLY A ONE DAY PROCESS. PATIENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED BY GEORGIA LAW TO PHYSICALLY COME TO THE CLINIC AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.
To ensure confidentiality we do not send bills for abortions. Fees are all-inclusive and include counseling, laboratory tests, local anesthesia, physicians fee, and birth control information. A RhoGam shot for Rh- women is an additional modest charge. Payment must be made on the day of the abortion in the form of American Express, Mastercard, VISA, Discover, or cash. The credit card owner must be present to sign the sales receipt if a credit card is used. For collection reasons, we do not accept personal checks. This policy allows us to keep costs to a minimum. The fees below are all subject to change.
